day 3 of no sleep and it's really getting old...sorta cute the first two nights, not so much night number three. i've been averaging about 3 hours of interrupted sleep/night and today its most unbearable! Last night i found my pillow around 8:30p, by 10:00p i was bright eyed. off and on i exchanged text messages during the hour and a half...but those were sent on "automatic pilot," meaning: heart-fingers-phone-recipient...you see whats missing there is the great inhibitor...the brain, who typically handles all editing duties after the heart is done yapping.
back to my insomnia, i spend two futile hours chasing sleep in my bed, the next four were devoted to reruns of jackass/modern marvels/and a VH1 "real world" special...i could think of better ways to waste away four hours of my life, but these seemed like viable options at 2am. i think it was around 4:30a when i decided to give sleep another run for its money...i must of caught up around 5a, rejoined reality at 7a and jumped back into the rat race at 9a.
Its now close to 6p and, were it not for an early morning semi-surprise, i'd be quite the unhappy camper right now. thanks again!
that said, i'm on a mission not to let my eyes rest until at least 11p...i really hope this approach works. i'm open to suggestions!
